ST. PETERSBURG – Come down to North Straub Park this weekend for the premiere of a new tradition – the St. Petersburg Seafood & Music Festival.

The festival runs 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday (March 25) and Sunday (March 26). General admission is $5 at the gate, $3 in advance through Eventbrite.com.  VIP Tent admission is $50. Come enjoy downtown St. Petersburg with friends and family. The event is graciously hosted by the city of St. Petersburg with proceeds benefiting the St. Petersburg Arts Alliance.

The St. Petersburg Seafood & Music Festival is created as are all good dishes: by incorporating and blending the finest ingredients. The event offers fresh seafood dishes prepared onsite by top local restaurants and food purveyors mixing a variety of ingredients. All seafood dishes are created using indigenous and sustainable ocean resources from Florida’s coastal waters. Meat dishes and a variety of vegetarian entrees also are offered.

Musical entertainment consists of live on-stage performances by creative and talented musicians from both the local, regional and national circuit. Included in this year’s performers are: Orchestra Fuego, Mike Tozier, the Sarasota Steel Pan Band, RJ Howson, Kettle of Fish, the Greg Billings Band, the HubbTones. Twinkle and Rock Soul Radio and Jah Movement. Performance times will be listed on the website: seafoodfestivals.com.

The event also features a crafts village showcasing arts, crafts and fine products along with gourmet food products and specialty items.
