There is also a pet-friendly one mile fun run/walk for those who don’t want to do the 5K.
TAMPA – Registration is open for the PARR Foundation’s third annual PARR for the Course, 5K Race & 1 Mile Fun Run.
Join the race on one of the most unique 5K courses in the Tampa Bay area, which snakes its way through the lush, wooded grounds of the Babe Zaharias golf course, 11412 Forest Hills Drive, Tampa. Surrounded by the quaint charm of Forest Hills, this race offers a flat, fast run sure to appeal to all levels of runners.
The chip-timed 5K begins promptly at 6:30 p.m. April 6 with the one mile starting about 7:30 p.m.
After the one-mile event, there will be an awards ceremony as well as a post-race party featuring free beer, a live DJ and a great selection of free food samples from a number of area restaurants.
