Seminole Pow Wow Includes Bow Wows

Seminole’s oldest and largest festival, Pow Wow, kicks off Friday (March 13) for a three-day run.

SEMINOLE – The Pow Wow Festival has three days’ of activities at the Seminole Recreation Center, 9100 13th St. N. One highlight of the weekend is the Pow Wow parade that runs from Seminole Mall to the Recreation Center. This year’s parade will include a Wagon Float contest for decorated wagons or garden carts. The parade will also have a Bow Wow contingent for the second year with dogs and their human companions walking the route. Friday’s events are from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday’s, 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. (although 113th will close at 9:30 a.m. for the parade).
