Neither alcohol nor drugs are suspected factors in the crash, the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office said.

TAMPA – A Tampa man died and another was injured late Friday (Sept. 7) in a head-on traffic crash, the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office said.

Richard William Draghi, 68, of Tampa, died at the scene. The other driver, Yusniel Rodriguez Nunez, 24, of Tampa, was taken to St. Joseph’s Main Hospital with minor injuries.

The crash happened about 11:55 p.m. on Anderson Road, just south of Waters Avenue W, in Tampa.

Mr. Draghi was driving his 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan southbound on Anderson Road when he crossed the center line into oncoming traffic. Deputies said Mr. Draghi hit head on the 2014 Dodge Avenger that Nunez was driving.
