His pickup truck crossed the centerline, FHP troopers say.

PASCO COUNTY – A 34-year-old Brooksville man died of injuries he suffered Saturday (April 10) in a crash on State Road 54.

The other driver, a 67-year-old Trinity man, was seriously injured, the Florida Highway Patrol said.

The crash happened about 2:34 p.m. in the eastbound lanes of SR 54 approaching Old Millpond Drive in Pasco County.

Troopers say the Brooksville man was driving west on SR 54 when, for an unknown reason, he crossed the median into the path of an oncoming pickup truck. The eastbound pickup hit the passenger’s side of the truck the Brooksville man was driving. The two two vehicles came to a rest along the eastbound wood line.
