Timothy L. Guilotte, 51, of Hudson, died at the scene. He was not wearing a helmet. The other driver, Jerry D. Cowling, 70, of Brooksville, was not injured.

The crash happened about 10:58 a.m. on U.S. 19 at the intersection of St. Andrews Boulevard.

Troopers said Cowling was driving a 2011 Chevrolet Aveo north on U.S. 19 when he tried to turn left onto St. Andrews Boulevard. The turn took him into the path of the 2007 Honda Silver Wing that Mr. Guillotte was driving. The Honda hit the right side of the Chevrolet.
