No one was hurt in either crash.

PASCO COUNTY – Florida Highway Patrol troopers said they arrested two drivers this past weekend who were responsible for separate crashes in Pasco County.

Michael Fink, 45, of Zephyrills, was charged with leaving the scene of a crash involving property damage in connection with a crash Sunday (June 11).

Jason Guindon, 18, of Port Richey, was charged Saturday (June 10) with leaving the scene of a crash and driving without a license.

The Sunday crash happened about 4:50 p.m. on Fairview Heights Road east of Hackemore Road. Troopers said the 2000 Chevrolet pickup truck that Fink was driving left the roadway for unknown reasons and became airborne when it hit and embankment. It then hit a barbed wire fence. Fink left the scene but was stopped by Pasco County deputies.

The Saturday crash happened about 11:54 p.m. on U.S. 19 south of San Marco Drive. A 2000 Dodge driven by Phillip Sipple, 29, of Hudson, was traveling south on U.S. 19 when a 2007 Saturn driven by Guindon, which had been traveling north on U.S. 19, made a U-turn, troopers said. The U-turn took the Saturn into the path of the Dodge, which hit the rear of the Saturn.

The Saturn left the scene, troopers said. As troopers were on the scene, talking with Sipple, they saw the Saturn traveling south on U.S. 19. Troopers said they pulled the Saturn over and arrested Guindon.
