Driver Dies after Three-Vehicle Crash in St. Petersburg

The crash closed a portion of Fourth Street N for several hours.

ST. PETERSBURG – One driver died from injuries he received in a three-car crash on Fourth Street N late Sunday (May 14) night, St. Petersburg police said.

Curtis Cramer, 24, died at Bayfront Health St. Petersburg, where he was taken after the crash. The three occupants in the other two cars were also taken to Bayfront. It is unclear what their conditions are.

The crash happened about 10:35 p.m.in the 1900 block of Fourth Street N. A 2013 Cadillac sedan being driven by Mr. Cramer was southbound when it struck the west curb then hit the rear of a 2010 Mercedes sedan driven by Kevin George, 28, which was also southbound. The Cadillac then crossed into the northbound lanes where it hit a 2017 Toyota sedan driven by Emeker Baxter, 43.

Fourth Street between 15th and 18th avenues N was closed for several hours while the crash was being investigated, police said.
