FHP troopers are searching for a third vehicle that might have been involved.

PINELLAS COUNTY – A Pinellas Park woman died and two others were seriously injured in a traffic crash Monday (Nov. 19) on 102nd Avenue, the Florida Highway Patrol said.

Hailey Marie Mullen, 20, died at the scene. Annmarie Desocio, 74, of Largo, was taken to Bayfront Health St. Petersburg in critical condition. Luciano Gomes, 53, of Redington Beach, was taken to Largo Medical Center with serious injuries.

The crash happened about 6:30 p.m. at the intersection of 102nd Avenue and 97th Street N in Pinellas County.

Troopers said a 2018 Ford Raptor driven by Gomes and a pickup truck driven by an unknown driver were traveling west on 102nd Avenue N at a high rate of speed in adjacent lanes. Desocio was driving a 2002 Lexus ES300 east on 102nd Avenue.

Desocio turned left at 97th Street under a green traffic signal. The turn took her into the path of the Ford, which collided with the passenger side of the Lexus.

After the impact, troopers said the Ford continued through the intersection and overturned.

The Lexus may also have collided with the pickup truck, which fled the scene. The pickup was described as a green Chevrolet Silverado pickup with dark tinted windows.

Anyone with information about the crash is asked to call the FHP at (813) 558-1800 or texting *FHP.
