She crossed the center median and hit the side of a pickup truck, FHP troopers say.

HERNANDO COUNTY – A New Port Richey woman died of injuries she suffered in a crash on Coastal Boulevard, the Florida Highway Patrol said.

Cynthia Lynne Busch, 66, of New Port Richey, died at the Regional Medical Center at Bayonet Point where she was taken after the crash.

The crash happened about 11:30 a.m. Wednesday (Nov. 27) at Coastal Boulevard and State Road 50 (Cortez Boulevard) in Hernando County.

Troopers said Ms. Busch was driving a 2002 Mitsubishi Lancer north on Coastal Boulevard when, for unknown reasons, she crossed the center median. The Lancer hit the left side of a 2010 Dodge Ram that was stopped for a red light on northbound Coastal Boulevard.
