Bruce B. Downs Crash Kills Wesley Chapel Man
FHP troopers said he turned into the path of an oncoming car.
PASCO COUNTY – A Wesley Chapel man died of injuries he received in a crash Thursday (Feb. 7) on Bruce B. Downs Boulevard, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
William A. Bologneta, 85, of Wesley Chapel, died at St. Joseph’s Hospital where he was taken after the crash.
The crash happened about 12:19 p.m. at the intersection of Bruce B. Downs and Eagleston Boulevard in Pasco County.
Troopers said Mr. Bologneta was driving a 2005 Honda Civic east on Eagleton. He turned left onto northbound Bruce B. Downs into the path of an oncoming 2005 Toyota Camry.
