For Our Future Florida is a grass-roots organizing group aimed at producing political change.

ST. PETERSBURG – For Our Future Florida will open its St. Petersburg office today (May 29) for community members ready to take action in this year’s midterm elections.

Founded in 2016, For Our Future Florida is committed to mobilizing voters around the key issues of strengthening public education, advancing social and racial justice, preserving the environment and fighting for working families. Throughout 2017, FOF-FL organized countless marches, rallies and trainings, an effort it will ramp up in 2018.

The group will continue to open offices around the state as part of a $70 million midterm blitz . As part of its effort to run a massive volunteer program, For Our Future Florida has also created an online sign-up page where community members learn about how to get involved.

The grand opening is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. today (May 29) at the office, 3651 Central Ave. in St. Petersburg
