After today, voters will have one last chance Tuesday (Aug. 28) to cast a ballot in the primary election.

PINELLAS/HILLSBOROUGH COUNTIES – Time is running out to cast a ballot in the primary election.

Pinellas and Hillsborough counties have one more day of early voting. But if you haven’t voted by the end of the day today (Aug. 26), or voted by mail, you’ll only have one more chance – that’ll be Tuesday (Aug. 28).

Hillsborough has 19 early voting sites open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. For a list of locations and wait times, go to votehillsborough.org.

Pinellas has three early voting sites open:

Election Service Center, 13001 Starkey Road, Largo (Starkey Lakes Corporate Center)
Pinellas County Courthouse, 315 Court St., Room 117, Clearwater (first floor, north side)
County Building, 501 First Ave. N., St. Petersburg (entrance on Fifth Street)

All three will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. today. Voters can check early voting wait times online at VotePinellas.com.

To avoid delays, please bring one or two forms of identification that include your signature and photo. Without proper identification, you may still vote a provisional ballot, which will later be evaluated by a canvassing board for eligibility. If your photo ID does not include your signature, you will be asked to provide another ID that has your signature.

Florida has closed primary elections. Only voters registered with a political party are eligible to vote in that party’s closed primary election. All registered voters may vote in nonpartisan school board contests and judicial contests.

The State Representative District 70 contest is a universal primary contest in which all qualified candidates are registered with the same political party. All registered voters in HD 70 are eligible to vote in this contest regardless of party affiliation. The candidate who receives the most votes will be the winner and the contest will not appear on the general election ballot. HD 70 includes portions of Pinellas, Hillsborough and Manatee counties.
