Pasco Wants to Know What Residents Think

The county has launched its annual citizens survey.

PASCO COUNTY – This county launched its annual Citizen Survey today (April 17).

The survey has been conducted every year since 2009 to solicit feedback from residents on a variety of topics related to the future of the county, such as transportation, parks, emergency services and growth.  The survey is intended to help the Pasco County Commission with planning discussions and decision-making.

The Survey is available online and will remain open through May 31.

The survey also asks how often citizens use Pasco County government-provided services and solicits feedback on how well the expectations for service delivery are met. Pasco County received 4,642 responses to the online citizen survey in 2016 – up 250 percent from 2015.

“We had an incredible response to the online citizen survey last year,” said Dr. Marc Bellas, organizational performance management director. “The survey is a way for residents to be a part of the decision making process. It’s vital for the board to know what issues are important to our citizens.”
