Tutu-Wearing Burglar Arrested, Hillsborough Sheriff Says

The man was wearing a tutu when he and another man broke into the Tampa Farmers Market, deputies said.

HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY – Deputies say they have arrested one of the men who broke into the Tampa Farmers Market earlier this month.

Jevon Ryner Jamison, of 2532 W Jean St. in Tampa, has been charged with burglary of an unoccupied structure, criminal mischief and petit theft ($100 or less), according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office.

The break-in happened 1 a.m. Nov. 1. Deputies said two men entered the Farmers Market, 1718 Fletcher Ave. E, by breaking out the glass door to the business office. Once inside, the suspects consumed fruit and  soda. Deputies said one of the men was in a cheerleader’s costume wearing a tutu and what appeared to be a wig. The other was wearing a hoodie with an image of an owl on the front.
