The man has more than 40 felony convictions, according to the Hernando County Sheriff’s Office.

SPRING HILL – Hernando sheriff’s deputies accused a Spring Hill man of selling methamphetamine to undercover operatives.

Walter Peter Gabrielsen, 44, of 1718 Linden Drive in Spring Hill, was arrested Wednesday (Dec. 14) and charged with the sale and possession of methamphetamine within 1,000 feet of a church, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of a structure to sell methamphetamine. Deputies said Gabrielsen, who goes by the name “Disney,” has more than 40 felony convictions on his record and has spent time incarcerated in the Department of Corrections. When arrested, deputies said he was out on bond for previous charges.

Gabrielsen’s arrest, deputies said, was the result of a lengthy investigation during which undercover operatives were able to make several purchases of methamphetamine from him. Deputies from the department’s vice and narcotics unit and SWAT team members executed a warrant at Gabrielsen’s home Wednesday. They said they found methamphetamine and paraphernalia consistent with narcotics sales.
