DNA testing proved he is the father of the child, according to the Hillsborough Sheriff’s Office.

HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY – A Wimauma man has been accused of impregnating a 13-year-old girl, the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office said.

Felipe Diaz Hernandez, who is now 50, of Wimauma, is charged with sexual battery (familial/custodial) and child abuse (impregnation).

Deputies said that, some time in 2016, Hernandez forced the victim, who was 13 years old, to have sexual intercourse. As a result of the sexual battery, deputies said, the girl became pregnant.

She gave birth to a baby girl in September. DNA testing, conducted by Florida Department of Law Enforcement, proved that Hernandez is the biological father of the child.
