Clearwater Police Arrest 10 In Crackdown on Prostitution

Police conduct periodic crackdowns in response to complaints from residents.

CLEARWATER – Police arrested 10 people Friday (Feb. 12) night and early today (Feb. 13) in a crackdown aimed at prostitution and related offenses. Of the 10, seven were charged with prostitution-related offenses. Five suspects were women and five were men. The arrests occurred mainly in the East Gateway area of the city, east of downtown. Clearwater police say they conduct these periodic crackdowns in response to complaints from residents and business owners.

Marlin Hendricks, 25, trespass after warning
Tiffany Stallings, 38, warrant (solicitation for prostitution)
Portia A Collins, 25, sales and possession of cocaine, possession of paraphernalia
Carrie Anne Meeks, 32, solicitation for prostitution, warrant (possession of marijuana)
Katie Ann Goranson, 39, solicitation for prostitution
Rebecca Royer, 45, solicitation for prostitution
David A James, 49, solicitation for prostitution, possession of marijuana
Jose Omar Tellez-Silis, 22, solicitation for prostitution (vehicle impound), no valid drivers license
Floyd Waco Jones, 50, open alcohol
Michael Gallion, 36, solicitation for prostitution
