The Florida Highway Patrol has reopened I-275 after a late morning crash.

HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY – A tractor-trailer that crashed closed a southbound access to I-275 for about two hours today (July 31), according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

The crash happened about 10:45 a.m. on westbound I-4 at the exit ramp to southbound I-275 in Hillsborough County. The crash happened when the driver lost control on the rain-slicked roadway.

The tractor portion of the vehicle came to final rest partially protruding over the barrier wall with the trailer blocking all lanes to southbound I-275.

No other vehicles were involved and no one was injured. The truck’s load of vinyl fencing remained intact. The junction was reopened completely at 1 p.m., troopers said.
