One person was shot Sunday (May 14) during a party at the Quail Hollow Golf and Country Club, according to the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office.

WESLEY CHAPEL – Pasco sheriff’s deputies are investigating a shooting that happened Sunday (May 14) during a party at the Quail Hollow Golf and Country Club.

One person received a non-life threatening gunshot wound and was being treated at a local hospital, according to the Pasco Sheriff’s Office. A second person received a cut to his hand from a knife in a separate incident that, preliminarily, appears to be unrelated to the shooting. Their names have not been released.

Deputies were called to the club, 6225 Old Pasco Road in Wesley Chapel, in the late afternoon or early evening. A large party with up to 500 guests, most of them from outside Pasco, was being held. Deputies said someone fired a gun, hitting one person.

The investigation is ongoing and appears to be an isolated incident.

Deputies are asking the public’s help identifying the two people shown in the photograph. They were in a white Hyundai Elentra with red rims, deputies said. If you can identify these them or the car, call 1-800-706-2488.
