Pinellas County officials rescinded the notice after testing discovered no contamination in the drinking water from a broken water main over the weekend.

PINELLAS COUNTY – Officials lifted a precautionary boil water notice for St. Pete Beach and Tierra Verde late Monday (Dec. 21) night for Pinellas County water customers in St. Pete Beach and Tierra Verde.

Normal water use can resume immediately for customers in these areas.

The precautionary boil water notice had been in effect most of the weekend after a water main broke Saturday (Dec. 19) at the intersection of 75th Avenue and Blind Pass Road. After the main was repaired, county officials tested the drinking water and found no contamination.
