Pinellas Park Police Investigating Bomb Threat at Middle School

The threat was reported Friday (March 20) by a student who reported it to a school resource officer. No bomb was found.

PINELLAS PARK – Morgan Fitzgerald Middle School was evacuated Friday (March 20) after a student reported seeing a note written on the wall in a bathroom than indicated there was an explosive device in a school bathroom, according to Pinellas Park police.

The school resource officer and school administration decided to evacuate the school, 6410 118th Ave. N, while officers searched for a bomb. Nothing suspicious was located, and once it was determined that there was no ongoing threat, the students were allowed to return to class for dismissal, police say.
