The second annual BarKbque to benefit Gulfport’s Get Rescued is Saturday (March 21).

GULFPORT – Salty’s restaurant is hosting its second annual BarKbque Saturday (March 21) to benefit Gulfport’s Get Rescued, the animal rescue festival and fundraiser. A $5 donation gets you a burger, chips and soda or two hot dogs, chips and a soda. There will also be “doggy daiquiris,” all-natural frozen treats for the paw people and a bake sale. Also featured will be animal rescues, pet friendly vendors, a silent auction and raffles. The event is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Salty’s, 5413 Shore Blvd. S.
