Clearwater Police Promote Three

Clearwater Police Chief Dan Slaughter has announced one promotion to lieutenant and two to sergeant.

CLEARWATER – Sgt. Kevin D’Amico, a 28-year veteran of the department, will be the new lieutenant for support services. Detective Kerri Spaulding, who has been with the agency since 2000, will be a sergeant assigned to the patrol division. And Officer Michael Spitaleri, who has worked with the department since 2006, will be the new sergeant in charge of the canine team. A ceremony will be conducted March 13 for the three.
