Pinellas Sets 9-1-1 Job Fair

The fair will highlight job opportunities in Pinellas County’s emergency telecommunications center.

PINELLAS COUNTY – The Pinellas Regional 9-1-1 Center is holding a job fair from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday (March 12) at the Pinellas County Public Safety Complex, 10750 Ulmerton Road, Largo. Individuals seeking a career in emergency telecommunications will have an opportunity to meet with professionals, tour the 9-1-1 center and observe operations. On-site testing to gauge data entry skills and how potential candidates handle multi-tasking may be scheduled in advance by calling (727) 464-3835. Space is limited for the testing. Interested applicants should call as soon as possible to reserve a seat. Certain service members and veterans, and the spouses and family members of the service members and veterans, receive preference and priority in employment by the state and are encouraged to apply for the positions being filled.
