St. Pete Preservation Inc. is adding a new page to its Saturday walking tour.

ST. PETERSBURG — St. Petersburg Preservation Inc. will add reading to its regular downtown walking tour Saturday (Dec. 19).

The organization is partnering with Keep St. Pete Lit.  Tour goers will learn about the city’s unique architecture and colorful history while gaining inspiration from local writers reading from their work.

Tour goers are invited to bring along a favorite Florida poem or saying and read it when the time seems right — or you can just sit back and enjoy the inspiration.

The tour starts at 10 a.m. at City Hall, 205 Fifth Street N, at 10 a.m. It should last about two hours. Cost is $5 for non-members of the preservation society, free to members.
