Registration Opens for Kids Triathlon in Seminole
It will be a run/bike/pool swim triathlon open to kids ages 5 to 12 years old.
SEMINOLE – Registration is open for Seminole’s annual Tri If You Dare Kids Triathlon.
The event, hosted by the city of Seminole’s Recreation Department, is scheduled for June 30. Participants will run, bike and swim. It is open to kids ages 5 to 12 years old.
All participants will receive a finisher’s medal, event T-shirt and the top three boy and girl finishers will receive trophies.. Distances are as follows:
Ages 5-6: Run 0.25 mi / Bike 1 mile / Swim 25 yards
Ages 7-8: Run 0.5 mi / Bike 2 miles / Swim 100 yards
Ages 9-10 Run 0.75mi/ Bike 2miles/ Swim 100 yards
Ages 11-12: Run 1 mile / Bike 3 miles / Swim 150 yards
Early bird registration fees are $35 before June 10; $45 on or after June 10. No race day registration is available. Mandatory packet pick for participants will be 10 a.m.– 2 p.m. June 29 at the Holland G. Magnum Recreation Complex, 9100 113th St. in Seminole
