Troopers said Mr. Mustacchio was driving the Ford west on U.S. 92 when, for an unknown reason, the car crossed the centerline of the roadway. The Ford entered the path of an oncoming 2005 Peterbilt semi tractor-trailer driven by Lakic. The vehicles collided head on.
