St. Petersburg Motorcyclist Killed in Pasco Crash

He was thrown from his motorcycle during the County Line Road crash, FHP troopers say.

PASCO COUNTY – A motorcyclist died this morning (June 15) when he was thrown from his bike during a crash on County Line Road, the Florida Highway Patrol said.

The motorcyclist, a 24-year-old man from St. Petersburg, died at the scene. It is unclear if he was wearing a helmet.

The crash happened about 9 a.m. at the intersection of County Line Road and Teebs Boulevard in Pasco County.

Troopers said a single unit truck driven by a 22-year-old Tampa man was headed was headed west on County Line Road when the driver tried to turn left onto southbound Teebs Boulevard.

The truck entered the path of the motorcycle, which was traveling east on County Line Road. The two collided and the motorcyclist was thrown from his bike.
