St. Petersburg Man Critically Injured in 62nd Avenue Crash
He was crossing 62nd Avenue N when he was hit, FHP troopers say.
ST. PETERSBURG – A St. Petersburg man was seriously injured Tuesday (July 21) when he was hit by an SUV while crossing the street, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
The 48-year-old St. Petersburg man was crossing 62nd Avenue N at 33rd Way N about 5:16 p.m. when he was hit by an SUV that was being driven north on 62nd. Troopers said the man “failed to yield” and was then struck. He was listed in critical condition.
