HERNANDO COUNTY – A Brooskville man has died of injuries he suffered in a crash earlier this month on State Road 50, the Florida Highway Patrol said.

The 68-year-old Brooksville man died Saturday (Sept. 27) of injuries he suffered in the Sept. 19 crash. His passenger, a 65-year-old Brooksville woman, was seriously injured.

The crash happened about 11:15 a.m. at the intersection of SR 50 and Windmere Road in Hernando County.

Troopers said the deceased man was driving a motorcycle west in the center lane of SR 50 when a 36-year-old Dade City woman who was driving an SUV turned in front of him at the intersection of Windmere.
