Spring Hill Teen Dies in Crash on County Line Road

She was a passenger in one of the vehicles, FHP troopers say.

PASCO COUNTY – A 15-year-old girl died Monday (Oct. 12) in a traffic crash on County Line Road.

The girl, a 15 year old from Spring Hill, was the passenger in a Mazda Miata convertible, the Florida Highway Patrol said. She was wearing a seat belt.

The crash happened about 3:13 p.m. on County Line Road west of Sprngtime Street in Pasco County.

A flatbed tow truck was reversing from a driveway onto County Line Road when the 62-yer-old driver from Hudson, drove into the path of the Miata, which was headed east. The Miata, whgich was driven by a 17-year-old Spring Hill boy, hit the flatbed portion of the truck.
