The Brooksville man was standing or walking in the travel lane, according to FHP troopers.

HERNANDO COUNTY – A Brooksville man died late Friday (Nov. 13) night when a car hit him on Northcliffe Boulevard.

The 50-year-old man died at the scene, according to Florida Highway Patrol troopers.

The crash happened about 11:32 p.m. on Northcliffe Boulevard east of Cartee Avenue in Hernando County.

Troopers said a Spring HIll man, 27, was driving a sedan west on Northcliffe when he hit the Brooksville man who was standing or walking in the westbound travel lane.
