New Port Richey Pedestrian Dies in Little Road Hit and Run
FHP troopers say they believe the vehicle that hit him is a silver or light gray Toyota.
PASCO COUNTY – A New Port Richey man died this morning after he was hit while trying to cross Little Road, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
Anthony F. Talotta, 26, of New Port Richey died at the scene.
The crash happened about 1 a.m. at Little Road near the intersection of Heritage Lakes Boulevard in Pasco County.
Troopers said Mr. Talotta was trying to cross Little Road south of the intersection when he stepped into the path of an oncoming vehicle. After the crash, the vehicle fled the scene going north on Little Road.
Troopers said they believe the vehicle that hit Mr. Talotta was either a silver or light gray Toyota.
