Holiday Man Dies After Crashing into Home

One of the home’s residents suffered minor injuries.

HOLIDAY – A man died after he crashed into a home on Viking Drive in Holiday, the Florida Highway Patrol said.

The driver, a 53-year-old Holiday man, died after the crash. FHP troopers say he was not wearing a seat belt.

A resident of the home that was hit suffered minor injuries from debris. It is unclear if that person was taken to a hospital.

The crash happened about 3:45 a.m. Saturday (June 13) at the intersection of Holiday Lake Drive and Viking Drive in Holiday in Pasco County.

Troopers said the deceased man was driving a pickup truck east on Holiday Lake Drive when he suffered a medical emergency and lost control of the vehicle. The truck left the road and hit a home on Viking Drive.
