She failed to make a right turn, FHP troopers say.

PINELLAS COUNTY – A Tarpon Springs woman died of injuries she suffered when she failed to make a right turn on her motorcycle, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

The 65-year-old woman died Sunday (Jan. 24) at a hospital where she was taken after Saturday’s (Jan. 23) crash.

The crash happened about 5:22 p.m. at the intersection of County Road 611 and Grey Oaks Boulevard in Pinellas County.

Troopers said the woman was driving a motorcycle south on CR 611 when she failed to make a right turn onto Grey Oaks. The motorcycle hit the median curb and median wall.

The woman, who was not wearing a helmet, was thrown from the motorcycle by the force of the crash.
