Hernando Animal Services Reopens to Walk-In Traffic

Safety and sanitization practices will continue be followed. This includes limiting the number of customers allowed in the building at a given time.

BROOKSVILLE – The Hernando County Animal Services shelter, 19450 Oliver St. in Brooksville, will reopen to the public for walk-in traffic, with no appointment required, beginning Tuesday (Oct. 27).

For the safety of all, proper safety and sanitization practices will continue be followed. This will limit the number of customers allowed in the building at a given time. HCAS asks for your patience as they make these adjustments to provide a safe environment for their animals, staff and visitors.

HCAS hours are 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday – Friday and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.
