Second Pasco County Resident Dies of COVID-19
Five people are hospitalized in Pasco with the disease.
PASCO COUNTY – A 67-year-old Pasco County resident diagnosed with COVID-19 passed away Friday (March 27).
This is the second person in Pasco to die while diagnosed with COVID-19.
Positive cases and fatalities are reported twice a day by the Florida Department of Health around noon and 7 p.m., on the DOH COVID-19 Dashboard. According to the dashboard, a total of 34 cases of COVID-19 coronavirus had been reported in Pasco County as of Saturday (March 28) evening.
Of those 34, one was a non-resident and the other 33 were Pasco residents. Fourteen men and 20 women with an average age of 50 have tested positive for the disease. Five are hospitalized and two have died.
