Pinellas deputies say he admitted to viewing child pornography.

ST. PETERSBURG – A St. Petersburg man was arrested and charged with possession of child pornography, according to the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office.

James Austin Fulop, 26, of St. Petersburg, was charged with 10 counts of Possession of Child Pornography. Deputies said he admitted to viewing child pornography.

Deputies said their investigation began in April after they received tips from the National Center of Missing and Exploited Children. THey identified Fulop as the suspect.

Detectives said they obtained a search warrant from the Sixth Judicial Circuit for Fulop’s Google account and say the account contained images of child pornography. Through their investigation, detectives also recovered multiple child pornography images from additional electronic devices belonging to Fulop.
