LARGO –  A Largo man is accused of killing his mother and stepsister during a domestic dispute, the Largo Police Department said.

Wiley Stanley MacKenzie, 49, of Largo was charged with two counts of Murder in the First Degree – Domestic. The names of his victims were not available.

Police said they received a call about 6:27 p.m. Wednesday (Feb. 26) about a man with a weapon. When they arrived in the 800 block of Third Avenue SW, a man there told officers that his son was attacking the complainant’s wife and stepdaughter with a knife.

Officers said they found MacKenzie inside the home and took him into custody. They said MacKenzie’s mother was found dead inside the home. His stepsister was taken to a hospital where she died of her injuries.

The investigation is ongoing.
