Palm Harbor Piano Teacher Accused of Possessing Child Pornography
Deputies say they received a tip from the National Center of Missing and Exploited Children.
PALM HARBOR – A piano teacher who also sold pianos has been arrested and accused of possessing child pornography, according to the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office.
Daniel Henry “Hank” Harrison III, 56, of Palm Harbor, was charged with 30 counts of Possession of Child Pornography.
According to detectives, their investigation began March 28, 2019, after they received tips from the National Center of Missing and Exploited Children. Deputies said they identified Harrison as the suspect and obtained a search warrant for his Google account and residence.
Detectives said they found multiple child pornography images from multiple electronic devices belonging to Harrison.
In an interview with detectives Wednesday (July 29), Harrison admitted owning the email address and phone number reported by Google.
