Hernando Deputies Arrest Man in Wawa Armed Robbery
A Wawa clerk was robbed at gunpoint earlier this month.
BROOKSVILLE – Hernando sheriff’s deputies have arrested and charged a man in connection with the armed robbery earlier this month of a Wawa convenience store.
David Michael Brady, 29, was charged with one count each of Armed Robbery, Possession of a Firearm by a Felon, and Retail Theft.
Deputies said they believe Brady is the masked man who, just after 5 a.m. July 7, entered the Wawa convenience store at 20101 Cortez Blvd. in Brooksville, and robbed the clerk at gunpoint.
Immediately after the robbery, the man escaped in a vehicle that was waiting in the parking lot and fled the area.
Brady was found Tuesday (July 14) at an address in Brooksville and taken into custody.
