Driver Charged with DUI, Drug-Related Offenses After State Road 60 Crash
He suffered minor injuries in the crash.
HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY – A Jacksonville man was arrested and charged with multiple drug-related crimes after a crash on State Road 60, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
David Angel Conde Jr., 21, of Jacksonville was charged with four counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance, and one count each of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of Cannabis, Possession of Cocaine, and Driving Under the Influence with Property Damage. Conde suffered minor injuries in the crash.
The crash happened about 10:53 p.m. Thursday (Sept. 17) on SR 60 near I-75 in Hillsborough County.
Troopers said Conde was driving a sedan that collided with a parked, abandoned sedan on the shoulder of the roadway. Conde suffered minor injuries and was taken to a hospital.
While troopers were searching Conde’s sedan to do an inventory of the contents, they said they found a large amount of illegal drugs. Conde was arrested after he was treated and released from the hospital.
