Deputies Accuse Tarpon Springs Man of Molesting Young Girls
Pinellas deputies say he admitted to a lack of understanding boundaries and appropriate touches regarding his behavior.
TARPON SPRINGS – Pinellas County Sheriff’s deputies have charged a Tarpon Springs man with molesting two young girls.
Pedro Caamal, 51, of Tarpon Springs, was charged with two counts of Lewd and Lascivious Molestation. One of the girls was younger than 12. The other between the ages of 12 and 16.
The investigation began Wednesday (Dec. 16) after a minor girl said she was the victim of sexual abuse. During the investigation, detectives said they learned two girls had been touched inappropriately on their buttocks and breasts. The incidents took place between Nov. 17 and Thursday (Dec. 17).
Detectives say Caamal admitted toa lack of understanding boundaries and appropriate touches regarding his behavior.
