Weather | Homeless | Shelter

The shelters will open tonight. All individuals or families seeking shelter from the cold should call the United Way at 2-1-1.

PASCO COUNTY – As extremely cold air moves through the Tampa Bay area, Pasco County is coordinating with the United Way and faith-based organizations to ensure shelter for anyone who needs a warm place to spend the tonight (Jan. 20).

All individuals or families seeking shelter from the cold are asked to call the United Way at 2-1-1.

The low temperatures and wind chills expected from today into Monday (Jan. 21) could be dangerous to anyone who will be outside for long periods of time. Children, the elderly, and pets are especially vulnerable to the cold and extra care should be taken to protect them.
