Christopher Douglas Woody, 43, of Largo, died at Bayfront Health St. Petersburg where he was taken after Thursday’s (April 20) crash.

While officers were responding. the complainant, who was following the vehicle, reported that it had begun to travel north in the southbound lanes of 49th and had crashed into the west shoulder of the road, striking a fire hydrant and a tree.
