Woman Dies in State Road 60 Crash
She walked in front of an oncoming car, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY – A woman died Saturday (May 5) of injuries she received when she was hit by a car while crossing State Road 60, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
Amanda E. Bruce , 38, of Hudson, died at Tampa General Hospital where she was taken after the crash.
The crash happened about 12:42 a.m. on SR 60 in the left turn lane leading to northbound I-75 and approaching Grand Regency Boulevard.
Ms. Bruce was walking north across SR 60 when she stepped into the path of a 2012 Nissan Sentra driven by Rachel Damron, 21, of Riverview.
