ST. PETERSBURG – An Uber driver died Tuesday (Oct. 25) from injuries he received in an early morning traffic crash Saturday (Oct. 22), according to the St. Petersburg police.

Robert J. Marthaller, 38, the Uber driver, died at Bayfront Health where he was taken after the crash. His passenger, Gary Bruce Jr., 29, was seriously injured and was also taken to Bayfront. The occupants of the other car were treated at the scene for minor injuries.
