U.S. 19 Crash Kills Spring Hill Woman

She was crossing U.S. 19 and walked into the path of oncoming traffic, FHP troopers said.

HERNANDO COUNTY – A Spring Hill woman died of injuries she received in a crash on U.S. 19, the Florida Highway Patrol said.

Tiffany Pomroy, 29, of Spring Hill, died at the Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point where she was taken after the crash. No one else was injured in the crash.

The crash happened about   7:10 p.m. Sunday (Jan. 27) on U.S. 19 near Berkeley Manor Boulevard in Hernando County.

Troopers said Ms. Pomroy was crossing U.S. 19 when she entered the path of a 2013 Lincoln MKX driven by John Franklin Bost, 86, of Brooksville, who was headed north on U.S. 19 in the outside lane.
