U.S. 19 Crash Kills Port Richey Woman

She pulled out of a driveway into the path of an oncoming car, the Florida Highway Patrol said.

PASCO COUNTY – A Port Richey woman died of injuries she received in a traffic crash Saturday (March 31) on U.S. 19 in Hudson, the Florida Highway Patrol said.

Christina Nicole Costarel, 39, of Port Richey, died at Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point where she was taken after the crash. The other driver, Paul Allen Fullington, 48, of Hudson, was taken to Bayonet Point with serious injuries.

The crash happened about 9:17 p.m. Ms. Costarel was driving a 2004 Jaguar X type east in the driveway of 12209 U.S. 19 in Hudson. She turned onto U.S. 19 and drove into the path of a 2007 Mazda 6 driven by Fullington. The Mazda hit the left side of the Jaguar.
